Sunday morning is a really nice time for baking for me. The flat is quiet and the kitchen is my own, either because Nacho is working or having a Sunday morning lie-in. This morning was no different. I got up early and started my measuring, mixing and stirring. It is very therapeutic in it’s own way and I love it. And so now the pumpkin chai upcakes have been baked into existence. There are as expected, not as sweet as the apple ones from last week but I was very happy with the texture, soft and spongy and a real pleasure to eat.
