I made some deliciously gooey brownies this evening. I am very pleased with myself. The weather outside is truly frightful, Storm Dennis is on the loose, so I have spend the day indoors in the kitchen, seemed an apt choice. I had wanted to make some blondies but the lack of white chocolate made that not a possibility. So I adapted an online recipe and made it my own.
I used dark chocolate instead and replaced the vanilla with 1/4 teaspoon each of ground ginger, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg. Good choice.
