The last time I indulged in some French Toast for breakfast was October. Far too long! So last weekend, home alone, as a treat to myself, I used the last of the brioche loaf to make some much-needed French toast (pain perdu). It was wonderful. So simple. The act of taking time to do something for myself in my own home is something that should never be taken for granted.
