It is the first Bank Holiday in May, my lie in is over, I am awake and ready to face the day. I had craving for a smoothie. I looked in my fridge and did not find much – two tupperwares worth of blueberries. In the fruit bowl there were a bunch of ripe bananas and so the Bank Holiday Banana and Berry Booster was born!


4 cubes of ice

1 cup of coconut water

1 banana

1 cup of blueberries

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon of chia seeds


Blitz in NutriBullet for a few minutes

I had forgotten how gloopy chia seeds can make a drink! So this smoothie was consumed by slurping and partly using a spoon. It was however a very refreshing start to the day.
