And then you reflect on the moment that you meet an esteemed colleague and start the conversation with – “I follow you on Twitter and I’ve read your blog” 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

It occurs to you later in the day when you are crushed on the Tube and trying not to faint, that perhaps you could have quoted any of the many published papers that you have actually read.

But, as you distractedly check your emails when you are finally home, you realise that you were just latching on to the thing that caught your interest the most and that which you found fascinating.
