I just discovered that in April, WordPress ran a daily prompt challenge! I wish I had known at the time, it might have cheered me up no end. Anyway I figure it’s never too late to take part.

It’s July now and we are rapidly coming out of lockdown. Life is still the opposite of funny, I’m writing this post and I cannot remember the last time I laughed out loud. I am clearly not reading, listening or watching the right things. There is of course the COVID-19 related dark humor but if we did not laugh at that, we would surely cry….
