At the moment, eating breakfast is so rare for me, it is literally a photographical event. In the mornings when I wake, I feel so nauseous that the thought of food is unbearable. How this morning, I woke up with a craving for some egg bread (aka French Toast). I thought I better grab the opportunity to eat while I felt like it.
Really easy – two eggs ๐ฅ๐ฅ, whisked with a pinch ๐ค of salt ๐ง and cinnamon. Cut two slices of brioche ๐ and cut the slices in half to make 4 small pieces. Soak the bread in the egg mixture on both sides until all of the egg is absorbed. Fry both sides until the outside is light brown and crispy in some coconut oil.





The result. Absolutely delicious ๐. Crispy on the outside and the right side of soggy on the inside. We had some unused oranges ๐ in the fruit bowl so I squeezed the juice out of three of them to make a refreshing drink to accompany my meal.
