Last Saturday we ate a really simple but delicious meal. I’d bought some Linguette (Classic and Rosemary by Crosta & Mollica) flatbreads from Costco, just waiting to be used. We had some ripe avocados in the fridge as Ignacio’s parents had brought use some smoked eels from Amsterdam as a gift and we thought it would be nice to combine the whole lot. There was also some leftover artichoke and parsley that needed a new home.

It was indeed the nicest of ideas leading to the nicest of meals.
