I made it into South Kensington to meet a friend, this fine sunny Saturday in August. We went to the Victoria and Albert museum and wandered about the Africa Exhibition. It was nice. I really enjoyed it.

Afterwards we went to an old favourite place of mine, the South Kensington Creperie. I have been coming here on and off for years. Having been away for so long, I was not sure if it was still going to be any good. I was not disappointed! I chose a vegeration option – cheese, goats cheese, spinach and honey and it was absolutely delicious. It was so tasty, I was quite hungry too but still, I loved it, could not fault it. It was a really nice end to what had been an interesting afternoon of chatting, catching-up and culture.
