How do you unwind after a demanding day?
What does a demanding day look for me these days?
The most demanding ones are related to going into the office. The difficulty is the length of the commute on either side of the working day, coupled by a full morning clinic and afternoon of trying to write up clinic notes and deal with the never ending onslaught of clinical queries. It’s exhausting and by the end of one of these days, I’m toast 🤯
These days I don’t plan to do anything after work except activate a self care regimen to try and balance the stresses and strains from that day.
Shower 🚿 🧼
Dinner 🍽️
Bed 🛌
It’s all part of recharging, going from 🪫to 🔋. These days it does not even involve my usual scrolling through social media or watching something on Netflix. I’m too tired!
