This weekend I have given up my usual self-indulgent lie-ins for yoga classes. I was surprised how easy it was to get up, considering the hideous week that I have had. However I think, the motivation and excitement of something ‘new’ and different fuelled my momentum. Remembering the gastrointestinal dramas from my first class on Monday, considering my morning hunger levels and time available, I felt that a quick smoothie would be the answer to preventing a hypoglycaemic collapse or vomiting tsunami.
Banana and peanut butter is one of my favourite combinations.
- 1 banana
- 2 tablespoons crunchy peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons oatgurt
- 3 prunes
- Oat milk
A satisfying combination. Filled me up for the morning and until a very late lunch after four pm.
All good, all good.
